Parent Coaching

Creating joyful, loving families.

There is no training manual for the rollercoaster ride that is parenting !

Riding the highs and lows of parenting is not for the fainthearted. We jump into it boots and all, determined to do our best, and oh my word, that we do!

However, it’s a journey many believe must be done solo. “It takes a village to raise a child”, reminds us that we can and ought to reach out and ask for parent support and guidance. There is no shame in feeling uncertain and overwhelmed along the way – it’s all part of the ride.

What is parent coaching?

Parent coaching provides you with a safe, non-judgemental space where you can honestly share your parenting difficulties and concerns.

Together we will explore your parenting challenges, look at possible root causes and discuss practical interventions that you can try out at home. A minor tweak here and there can make all the difference.

The ravages of low self-esteem

Low self-esteem creates a cavity of inadequacy and neediness where self-doubt, comparison and fear flourish and fester.  It becomes a feeding frenzy of never enough – never good enough, skinny enough, clever enough, successful enough, pretty enough, ripped enough etc.

Name, tame and reframe parent anxiety

I have found in my life and in the lives of my clients, anxiety shows up in different ways. Sometimes, it sneaks up on us and we suddenly realise we feel anxious, other times it stalks us like our shadow

Make the Connection

9 phrases that improve communication (and therefore connection) at work. We may not like to admit it, but many of us have done it – started an email to a colleague with ‘as per my previous email’ or ‘as previously stated’. Even though
