Significant to say the least. A profound process of self-discovery and growth. Sally is an expert, committed and completely professional. I always feel like Sally is fully present and fully invested in me. The coaching sessions are always intense and focused. There is never a lull, we always get stuck in from the minute we start and get immersed in the topic for the day. The sessions are empowering, emotional at times and uplifting. I have benefited from understanding myself better. Appreciating myself for everything I am. Through the sessions I have realised how much I have to offer myself and offer people in my life. I am learning that it is OK to shine. I am learning to trust myself. I am learning and practicing being present in my life.
Parent coaching offered by Sally afforded me the opportunity to let go of the blame and guilt, and instead provided me with the support and reassurance that I needed as an individual. It provided me with an understanding of my child, and made me question what could I possibly be doing differently to help him? I learnt that it’s not only children who grow, but parents who do too – and it’s ok to ask for help!
Sally started our process by teaching me sound theoretical principles and has also helped me find examples from my life to better understand these theories. This started the process of coming to grips with where my confidence and self-esteem issues stem from. As a scientist I am driven by the need for evidenced-based practice and practical ways to implement theories. Sally has helped me in this process and has provided me with practical tools/methods to better understand and implement the theories that I have learned. These tools have provided the essential platform for the transformation that I have noticed while also allowing me to better understand how my circumstances have shaped me into the man I am today. Sally has provided me a wonderful space that allows me to drop my guard and to be completely honest and open. Not once have I felt judgement nor self-conscious about opening up to her. I believe the successful implementation of my sessions into my everyday life is attributable to the above principles and her efforts.
After several false starts with therapists, I was skeptical when starting with Sally. All my worries were quickly dispelled, and I highly recommend her to everyone. I found previous therapists so busy trying to diagnose me that they weren’t listening. Sally made me feel heard and provided me with tools tailored to my needs.
Sally’s superpower is in being patient, compassionate and neutral while being constructively challenging when necessary.
Her process focuses on building the skills and strategies you need to review and overcome whatever circumstance you may find yourself in. While working with her, I liked that I could go as ‘shallow’ or ‘deep’ as I needed. No problem was ever too small or insignificant to be the focus of our sessions.
Working with her allowed me to process difficult experiences whose impact I hadn’t fully realised. I could then realign and focus on cultivating the relationship I want with myself and others.

I really enjoyed my time here because I got to know myself better. I also learned a bit more about my friends and what type of friends they are. Another thing I learnt was how to be kind to myself and others and how to be a real friend. This helped me study better and plan better. This was enjoyable for me because this was kind of an adventure and I’m adventurous. I am sad that this is over but I am happy because I learnt not one not two but a lot of new things here. When I think about this, I think of all the things I learnt.

Sally is a great listener and compassionate who encouraged me to verbalise my feelings without making me feel embarrassed or weak. She never made me feel rushed and treated my anxieties as real and important. She gave me her undivided attention and understood how desperate and out of control I felt. I was able to dig deep and share things that happened in my life which no one else knew about. For that I am very grateful.

Sally created a safe space for me so that I could have courageous discussions which meant that she had a clearer picture of who I was before I even understood who I was. This allowed her to find the keys needed in order to crack open the once “impenetrable” me that first started out with her. Sally is qualified and knowledgeable – she understands and cares about the importance of building self-esteem and self-confidence in everyone. Sally helped me realise that I am not damaged. That my childhood and breakdown of my marriage did not define me. That I am a strong, resilient and independent woman. I am now able to look in the mirror and both like and be proud of the person staring back at me.
This is what I found useful from our sessions:
Thanks a lot Sally. You have really helped me grow. I really enjoyed these.
